I went up to visit my family for Christmas, they all live in Washington State. This is the first winter with my D300 and the weather cooperated for getting some winter scenery photos. It snowed several times in the 10 days I was up there, all of these photos are within a 30 minute drive of my parents place on the Olympic Peninsula. I wanted to go up into the mountains to get some serious snow photos but I didn't get the chance this year, I got sick on the day I planned on going skiing. I guess I will have to make some trips up to the Sierras if I want snow pictures in the mountains.
