Drawings and Paintings : I used to take oil painting classes, in all I think I did about 40 paintings, and failed to complete many more lol. I originally got into photography so I could have reference photos for my paintings, then my photography hobby overtook my painting one. Here are a few of my paintings that I have photos for, some of them I did in my class, a few I did on my own too. None of them are for sale at any price, and I have given most of them away to friends and family anyway. I just could not resist displaying them here.

Christmas in the Northwest : I went up to visit my family for Christmas, they all live in Washington State. This is the first winter with my D300 and the weather cooperated for getting some winter scenery photos. It snowed several times in the 10 days I was up there, all of these photos are within a 30 minute drive of my parents place on the Olympic Peninsula. I wanted to go up into the mountains to get some serious snow photos but I didn't get the chance this year, I got sick on the day I planned on going skiing. I guess I will have to make some trips up to the Sierras if I want snow pictures in the mountains.
